[Minato was too used to eating out, so he didn't do it much until recently. But that was mostly because Ayer liked to get on his case about eating bad food. Of course, that should be a good thing.]
I wasn't aware curry was supposed to be enjoyed a specific way.
[He raised an eyebrow at that. He just liked all of the flavors, except perhaps the ramen one and the super spicy one. Those were probably better for special occasions. In any case, he chose the super meaty one. Skull because of course he had the appetite for it.]
Maybe about half the time. It depends on the sort of day I've had.
[She has a complicated relationship with cooking. She can but there are days where she just goes for convenience food at the end of the day in order to just get home and eat instead of spending the time to prep and cook a meal.]
It's just something that came about this past year. There's a cafe in Yongen that serves curry and coffee almost exclusively and the curry is made to pair perfectly with the coffee.
[It's actually kind of ironic that she hasn't tried anything beyond the Sojiro special since arriving. She probably should and based on the names of some of the others well anyone that knows her well isn't going to be surprised that she orders Panther.]
After what you said about eating two plates of curry somehow that doesn't surprise me.
[He can't help but laugh softly. It was short and quiet, but it was there.]
Yongen, hm? That's in... Tokyo, right? I don't think I was there long enough to really check it all out. Finding hidden cafes was always pretty fun, though.
[She smiles at that. Getting her friends to laugh is a nice little thrill.]
That's right. Leblanc was kind of my second home for most of the last year. It's quiet, the owner is a good guy and treats his customers well.
[She just really liked being there it was a good place when you wanted to get away from everything else or have covert thief meetings whichever happened to be the most necessary at the time.]
The Iwatodai dorms was the only place Iβd considered home, to be honest.
[He rested his cheek on his knuckles, considering his next words as he didnβt want to bring the mood down too much. But it was bound to come out eventually, either by him or Minako. If Ann had even met Minako yet and knew of their circumstance.]
I was kind of between relatives a lot. My parents died when I was six so it was hard to have a place to call home. I eventually found it though.
[Despite what he said, he was still smiling. His friends were his most cherished family members now, and by extension, so were the Phantom Thieves and the Investigation Team, even if he hadnβt met all of them yet.]
[She tilts her head waiting for him to continue. He's in luck so far that she hasn't met Minako yet. So it would be better to hear this from him at some point. Doesn't have to be now, but hopefully one day.]
That's good. That you found somewhere to call home eventually. Better late than never at all.
[Her parents were alive, but they were around so infrequently that she may as well not have them at all sometimes. They were more like tense acquaintances than family when they were around.]
Home is more than just a place. It's the people you surround yourself with too.
[His eyes softened as he nodded his head in gesture to the cafe. He figured it was this place, or the equivalent of it, and those who tended to occupy it. One Ren Amamiya and the rest of the Phantom Thieves. It was much like him and SEES.
Of course, then his eyes positively light up as their food arrives because food. Not that he digs in right away, his spoon poked at the roux and rice for a moment.]
At the end of it all... were you able to stick together, at least? I understand a couple of you were third years so college would have made things difficult.
[He often wondered what he would be doing had he remained alive. Would Mitsuru and Akihiko be able to keep in touch? What about Ken? What about after graduation?]

Sorry, I guess I still wonder about the future.
