[Well that's good? At least she can be prepared to space out how she eats so that she isn't sitting there watching him eat and feel creepy about it. But she did offer so it would be wrong to backpedal just because he was going to eat more than she probably was.
She arrives at Cafe Lupin a little after him, a wide smile on her face as she greets him with a wave.]
[Never feel creepy about food when you’re around Minato, Ann. You will learn this soon enough.
He shook his head and pulled his earphones off, letting them hang around his neck like usual. He opened the door for her.]
Just a few minutes. I live close by.
[And also, he was excited for food. He still hadn’t decided which kind of curry he wanted. Or how many he might have (okay he probably would only limit it to two plates so he didn’t freak Ann out too much.]
[It's a little weird to just sit and watch someone else eat if you're already done. And most of her friends have fairly normal appetites so this will be something new. Her smile turning a little amused as he holds the door open for her and she enters. Quite the gentleman.]
That's lucky. Though I guess I live closer now than I did back home.

[She didn't mind the travel to get to the mall or her favorite crepes stand, but there was something to be said for living on the same level as the cafe one of her closest friends owned. If nothing else it made it easier for her to decide to stop by if she didn't feel like cooking for herself.]

[There's always a touch of surreality when Ann stops by the cafe. Amazing to see how much of a mark Leblanc left on Ren that he would open his own cafe. But it always left her heart warm that Sojiro would be proud of him for pursuing something that he seems to enjoy.]
I usually get Sojiro's Special. It's how the curry is supposed to be enjoyed.
[Minato was too used to eating out, so he didn't do it much until recently. But that was mostly because Ayer liked to get on his case about eating bad food. Of course, that should be a good thing.]
I wasn't aware curry was supposed to be enjoyed a specific way.
[He raised an eyebrow at that. He just liked all of the flavors, except perhaps the ramen one and the super spicy one. Those were probably better for special occasions. In any case, he chose the super meaty one. Skull because of course he had the appetite for it.]
Maybe about half the time. It depends on the sort of day I've had.
[She has a complicated relationship with cooking. She can but there are days where she just goes for convenience food at the end of the day in order to just get home and eat instead of spending the time to prep and cook a meal.]
It's just something that came about this past year. There's a cafe in Yongen that serves curry and coffee almost exclusively and the curry is made to pair perfectly with the coffee.
[It's actually kind of ironic that she hasn't tried anything beyond the Sojiro special since arriving. She probably should and based on the names of some of the others well anyone that knows her well isn't going to be surprised that she orders Panther.]

I was kind of between relatives a lot. My parents died when I was six so it was hard to have a place to call home. I eventually found it though.
